Classes

Our approach to theatre is Creative Dramatics, which is an excellent way for kids to acquire poise and self-assurance in their everyday lives. And besides, it's fun!

Psychological benefits of the experience include improved social skills, boosted self-esteem, heightened sensory awareness and expanded imagination. Our classes are based on building self-esteem and self-confidence in kids in an environment where everyone participates.

Some specific skills taught are: "cold reading" of scripts, voice projection, stage directions, movement, makeup application, pantomime, improvisation, and puppetry.

You can also visit the Saddleback Valley Recreation Department office at 25631 Diseno Drive, off Jeronimo or call the office at (949) 586-1234, Ext. 293. The fee for each 10-week session is $100, payable at time of registration. Parents are responsible for all costumes when and if they are needed.
